LEGO star wars magazine: issue 25

LEGO Star Wars Magazine Issue 25
LEGO Star Wars Magazine Issue 25

Better late than never. Issue 25 of the LEGO Star Wars Magazine has been out for some time now, and the amazing gift is none other than a Sandcrawler minibuild!

The free LEGO set for July is a miniature version of the Jawas' huge mobile fortress. The meter-tall humanoid species use the Sandcrawler both for their transport and shelter. The build is quite simple but efficient enough to be distinguishable. And of course, it's always fun to make smaller variations of iconic Star Wars models. It's such a shame that a Jawa minifigure is not included. I guess that's just too much to ask. Well, there's always future issues!

Next issue comes out with a LEGO minifigure. It may not be a Jawa, but it's equally cool! Free Imperial Snowtrooper minifigure next month! Issue 26 will be released on 9 August.

july mini model build: octopus

July Mini Model Build [40245]

The LEGO Store's Monthly Mini Model Build for July is a super cute octopus!

This is my first time receiving a Monthly Mini Model Build because it's technically for children aged 6 to 14 only. Luckily last Thursday night, I visited my local LEGO Store near closing time, and there were still a few bags left! The event happened in UK LEGO Stores earlier that day from 1600 to 1800.

I had a lot of fun building the adorable sea creature! The final build was simply but beautifully designed, and not to mention it has movable tentacles! And I love the color scheme of different shades of blue with lime green (my favorite LEGO color) highlights! This mini build will definitely stay in my workstation for quite a while.

The next free Monthly Mini Model Build is on 3 August, still from 1600 to 1800. The theme is still underwater, but this time it will be a multicolored tropical fish with movable fins and tail. For more details, contact your local LEGO Stores or check out their online Store News.
